Our Founder

Karen Taylor

FOUNDER, NUTRITIONIST, MEDICAL HERBALIST

Karen’s personal mission in life is to help people enjoy their best selves through living a healthy lifestyle. She has a particular interest in body-composition and helping people lose fat, maintain that loss and manage their weight in the long-term.

With the belief that “we are what we eat”, she has been fascinated by the effect that her own food choices, both good and bad, have had on her performance, mood, body composition and energy levels.

Karen also has a unique understanding of the stresses of juggling work and the increasing demands of life having worked as a CPA-qualified accountant and executive recruiter in the corporate world prior to her nutrition career. Armed with this experience, she is able to partner with her patients to enhance their health and well-being and help them improve their balance in life.

Karen loves a challenge and helping people improve their health sometimes means piecing together a puzzle that has remained unsolved for years, especially when it comes to weight loss.
As a naturopathic medical practitioner, Karen also specialises in addressing complex acute and chronic conditions, including (but not limited to):

  • Diabetes, metabolic syndrome and insulin resistance
  • Digestive disorders
  • Hormonal imbalances including thyroid, women’s and men’s reproductive health
  • Arthritic conditions
  • Fatigue
  • Skin conditions
  • Autoimmune disorders
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Depression and anxiety
